#1: Aircraft Type & Size
Every jet has its own operating costs. Generally, bigger, more powerful planes are more expensive. Light jets (6-8 passengers) have lower fuel consumption and less engine wear than heavy/ultra long range jets (10+ passengers), and their hourly rates are lower.
The general rate of a turboprop plane, which is a small piston or turboprop aircraft, is around ₹2-3.25 lakh per hour; a light jet would be ₹3.25-4.0 lakh/hr, and large heavy turboprop jets such as a Dassault Falcon 2000 would be upwards of ₹6-7 lakh/hr.
